Thin Equals Poor
This is what my mom thinks – being thin means a person is not well off. She used to be slim, weighing 90lbs when she was still young. But when she reached the age of 30, she began to grow big literally. She now weighs 170lbs which isn’t healthy anymore, especially at her age.
She wants me to be fat too, telling me I don’t look good when I’m thin. She said it looks like hubby isn’t providing lots of food for us. The truth is, I just want to be slim and fit.
Well, does being thin means one is not well off? No, being fat means one is living a good life. It means one is more prone to different kind of diseases.

Not Enough
I’m happy that I’m beginning to lose weight. I’ve lost 14 pounds after I’ve given birth but still have 22 pounds to lose before I get back to my pre-pregnancy weight. But all the happiness I’m feeling has gone puff when my father-in-law told me I am still fat, arggh!
I know I still look heavy but I didn’t know I look that big. Well, papa said he thought I’ve gone back to my weight before. Oh well, it’s just two months since I’ve given birth and the weight I’ve lost because of breastfeeding, lack of sleep and taking care of the baby is a big achievement. I know I shouldn’t get back to weight sooner because I’m breastfeeding, but I can’t help thinking of dieting.
Anyway, I’m losing weight gradually and that is ok. I just hope I’ll get back to my old weight in six months time.

Get What You Can Eat
My daughter likes to get her own food during mealtime and she’s only three years old. She likes to get plenty of rice which she couldn’t finish after all. I tell her to just get what she can eat or finish so that food won’t go to waste. It’s not that it will really go to waste though since I eat it. But it’s not a good habit to get lots of food in a plate. It’s better to get little by little since one can get again if he or she wants some more.
One will also gain much weight in my opinion in filling their plate until only food can be seen on it. Besides, I think food won’t be digested properly by doing this.
As much as possible, eat a little for better food digestion, especially for those who are more than thirty years old already since metabolism for those in that age aren’t the same as when they were younger.
Eating Fish Helps Prevent Eye Disease
Do you like eating fish? You might like it more as there are news that eating fish can help prevent eye disease. According to study, those who consume fish regularly have a lower risk of developing age-related macular degeneration.
What is macular degeneration? Macular degeneration is an eye disorder that damages the center of the retina, which is called the macula. This makes it difficult to see fine details.
Not only that, eating fish rick in omega-3 fatty acids can protect against cardiovascular disease is essential in normal growth and helps prevent cancer too.
So make sure that fish is included in your diet.
Eat Meal and Lose Weight?
How is this possible? Wouldn’t you gain weight if you eat your meal then how come? Well, it’s about eating meal before going to bed. But this is possible if you eat dinner at least 4-5 hours before sleeping and this could be applicable for those who need to least at most 10 pounds. That’s what I’ve read here.
I haven’t tried this yet and I can’t as of the moment because I have more than 30 pounds to lose and I’ve just given birth. But I will definitely try this at least two months later. When that time comes, I need to eat my last meal at around 6pm since my usual sleeping time is 10pm.
